Shipping + Receiving
Most Nurseryworks items are in stock and ready to ship. We require payment in full prior to shipping. In the cases where product is not in stock, we require a 50% deposit upon receipt of order.
Nurseryworks will notify customer of approximate shipping date on sales order confirmations which are for convenience only and are not binding.
Shipping and handling charges for Nurseryworks items are quoted in U.S. dollars and include insurance. All orders are F.O.B. Los Angeles, California, unless otherwise specified.

RECEIVING GOODS
How to Properly Examine your Nurseryworks Shipment Before Signing
You should get in the habit of always checking your freight for signs of damage every time you receive a shipment. If you should discover a problem, bring it to the driver’s attention immediately, then take the following steps:
FOR VISIBLE DAMAGE:
If the shipment shows visible signs of damage, please refuse the shipment and note the description of the damage on the driver’s receipt BEFORE SIGNING.
FOR CONCEALED DAMAGE:
Aside from visible damage, you must also look for signs of concealed damage. Please note that although damages may appear minimal on the box, the inner contents of the package could be severely damaged. We advise you to open the boxes immediately to check the contents and then write a precise description of the damage BEFORE SIGNING. It is your responsibility to inspect the entire shipment before the driver leaves. Failure to do so, releases Nurseryworks from all liability.
Damages that occur in transit are unfortunate and we do sincerely apologize. Our guidelines are in place to protect everyone involved and help to expedite the process of sending replacements as quickly as possible.

PRICING
SHIPPING VIA FEDEX
Nurseryworks rockers ship via FedEx for $150 to any location in the US. Stools/ottomans ship at a cost of $47. This pricing applies to the Storytime Rocker, Sleepytime Rocker, Perch and Cole Ottoman. All crib conversion kits ship via FedEx for $40.00. The Empire Rocker, Bungalow Rocker and Cole Glider ship via standard freight carriers and those rates apply accordingly.
SHIPPING VIA STANDARD FREIGHT CARRIERS
Shipping and delivery of larger furniture require special consideration. Due to the actual weight and size of large items, Nurseryworks must ship them via standard delivery, using standard freight carriers.
Shipping is calculated by zone. Each of the three zones has a minimum price that must be met with business to business shipping/no accessorial pricing. Otherwise, shipping is calculated by a percentage of the cost of the product. Curbside delivery is included in our shipping rates.
Over the threshold delivery is available for an additional $155.00.
White glove installation service is available in Los Angeles and the New York metropolitan area. See pricing below.
An additional shipping fee of $100 is applied to all Duet Bunk Bed and the Vetro Crib purchases and shipment, in addition to below pricing, due to the oversized components and additional weight.

Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming
10% ($150 minimum). Over the first threshold delivery is +$155.00.
Zone 2
Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, North Dakota, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas
15% ($200 minimum). Over the first threshold delivery is +$155.00
Zone 3
Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York*, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington DC, Wisconsin.
18% ($270 minimum). Over the first threshold delivery is +$155.00.
*No minimum to the Manhattan metropolitan area for white glove delivery or pickup.
For shipments to Canada, Hawaii, and all international shipments pricing is based on product weight and size, destination, and ship method. Please e-mail vanessa@nurseryworks.net for details.
Tracking
Payment is required in full before your order can be released for shipping. Once payment is received and shipment confirmed, you will receive your invoice with a tracking number and the freight company used to ship your order. If you do not receive this information please e-mail Vanessa Miranda at vanessa@nurseryworks.net. We use various freight companies depending on the area. Please click on the appropriate link to track your shipment.
Transit takes 3-15 business days depending on the location, business or residential delivery. At certain times of the year, it can take longer.
Shipping Option/Pickup
Customers are welcome to pick up orders at the Nurseryworks warehouse in Montebello, CA. There are no pickup fees. Pick up hours are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm. To schedule a pickup, please contact Vanessa Miranda at vanessa@nurseryworks.net.
Shipping Option/International And Canadian Shipments
Nurseryworks will facilitate international shipments. Items can be picked up at Nurseryworks warehouse by the customer's shipper, or Nurseryworks can facilitate shipping and provide a quote. A commercial invoice will be provided and a recommended amount of insurance. Payment must be remitted in full before any order can be packed or shipped. If there is any damage upon receipt of the items, the purchaser is solely responsible for placing any claims. Replacement pieces for any and all damages will be purchased by customer. Nurseryworks will not be responsible for shipping damage.
In placing your order, you are required to obtain a customs broker to act on your behalf to obtain customs clearance on your merchandise
Merchandise shipped outside the U.S. is not returnable.
Shipping Option/White Glove
Nurseryworks offers white glove services in Los Angeles and the New York metropolitan Area.
For white glove service in the New York metropolitan area, 18% of the wholesale cost will be charged for shipping. White glove fees listed below are in addition for installation services.
